CHRISTMAS AROUND THE CO-OP

Lorain Cooperative Ministry embraces the Spirit of Christmas as Volunteers throughout the Co-Op share festivities and gifts with guests at Food Pantries and Hot Meals.

Guests received the gift of warmth as crocheters and knitters from First Lutheran worked months in advance to make beautiful hat, scarf and mitten sets.

Parishioners from First Lutheran, Redeemer, Lorain Lighthouse and First Congregational churches donated Winter accessories, kids books, school supplies, socks and toiletries so guests could leave with bags of goodies.

Guests at Christ Lutheran's Food Pantry received special holiday meal bags that were gathered and assembled by Volunteers.

Even Mayor Ritenauer's Office chipped-in with donated turkeys that were given to guests with large families for the holidays.

Redeemer Church rounded-out the festivities with a Christmas Celebration at their Hot Meal Dinner, which included music, cookie decorating, gifts and pictures with Santa.

We hope our guests enjoyed the festivities

and we wish a

Merry Christmas to All!
